We are proud to have fun, engaging and passionate actors, singers, dancers, teachers, face painters, acrobats, and magicians, balloon modelers, fitness trainers and consultants.

Our Staff is also checked through the NSW Working With Children Check and is fully insured with industry standard public liability.

Mario Martinez Diaz

Manager Director/Performer

Mario has always loved dancing and performing from an early age. At the age of 18 he decided to pursue a career in art and found architecture of great interest. In 2003, he completed a Master in Architecture in the UNSW. In May 2005 he auditioned for the Latin America Wiggles and landed a role as one of the Wiggly Dancers.

Since then he has performed live for children around the world, he has appeared in numerous Wiggles DVD’s and TV series.
Other productions and shows include: The Kingdom of Paramithi, Channel Nine, Antonio’s Baby Circus, ABC, Zingzillas Live Concerts Cebeebies in Australia.

In 2010 he co-created Pistachio Entertainment’s Tin Soldier and Ballerina Show in Spanish, giving the option for parents in Australia who want their children to learn a second language such as Spanish in a fun way.

Emily Martinez

Director Active Kids Program/Instructor/Performer

Emily started dancing at four years old and completed a Diploma of Performing Arts in Melbourne. She has featured in children productions for ABC, BBC to name a few. Emily performed in the 2000 Sydney Olympic opening ceremony and the Pan Pacific Games. She traveled to Taiwan and danced in various family theme parks.

In 2006 she joined the Wiggles and starred in The Dorothy the Dinosaur TV series and DVD’s, touring around the world and performing live in many venues such as Madison Square Garden and Sydney Entertainment Centre. Emily also is the creator of Our PISTACHIO Active DANCE AND FITNESS PROGRAM.

She has been teaching for 10 years in pre- schools, primary, high schools and dance schools and enjoy sharing my passion of dance with children. She is also a qualified Zumba teacher and has taught children’s workshops. She is the co-founder and choreographer of Pistachio Entertainment.

Robert McGlinn

Artistic and Education Consultant.

The Pistachio Group makes good use of the expertise provided by Bob McGlinn as their artistic and education consultant.
Bob has been involved in the field of children’s entertainment for decades as writer, performer, choreographer, director and producer.

He is well known for his meticulous costume designs and creative set constructions.

His vast experience has been invaluable in guiding the group to provide for the needs of each client, individually.

In 2012 Bob received the 20 Years of Service to the Schools Spectacular Award in recognition of his phenomenal service, support and creative talent from the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities.
